Roll film

Film with backing paper but no sprocket holes, supplied on a spool and wound onto a second spool inside the camera.

At the end of the roll the film and second spool are removed, and the first spool is moved to the output side to receive the next roll of film.

The most common roll film size today is 120 film for 6cm-wide images.
