Parallax
Mismatch between the viewfinder image and the image recorded on the film/sensor which occurs when the viewfinder has its own lens, separate from the one that takes the picture.
The greater the distance between the viewfinder lens and the taking lens the greater the parallax error.
Cameras which use the taking lens for the viewfinder image, such as SLRs, do not suffer from parallax.
